Director of Information Technology
Wisconsin Lutheran College, affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, is seeking candidates to lead its Information Technology (IT) Department.
The Director of IT will be a hands-on leader who ideally has a broad range of experience in IT planning, vendor management, staff and operational development, governance, and budget oversight. This role is ideal for someone who can effectively manage multiple responsibilities, integrate internal and external IT service providers, and adapt to the evolving needs of the institution.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a majority of the following:
Collaborate with stakeholders across the college to understand needs and set the IT agenda.
Create technology roadmaps aligned to institutional goals.
Establish IT Governance to support and protect IT's role within the college's mission.
Lead an IT team, managing workloads and projects, developing and improving operational process and procedures.

Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC) is seeking candidates for a Fine Arts Technical Manager (Tech Manager). This is a part-time, hourly position with a negotiable pay rate based on experience. The position reports to the General Manager, Fine Arts Programming and Operations, and works with Theatre faculty and outside performance directors. The Tech Manager will serve as the lead technical director for all Schwan Concert Hall Guest Artist and rental events.

Oversee all aspects of the Help Desk function, including student employee management and activities associated with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of hardware and application software problems reported by clients
Develops and maintains knowledge base for self-service support
Provides training in hardware/software utilization as developed in collaboration with IT partners
Improve awareness and best use of key technologies and applications
Develop and implement guidelines, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Help Desk

The Systems & Application Specialist ensures optimal performance of core IT systems and applications utilized throughout the college's academic and administrative environments. Collaborating with functional users of IT systems and applications and working closely alongside other IT staff and managed service provider partners, the specialist helps manage essential campus technologies to maximize uptime, security, efficiency, and end user productivity. This role is critical to the college’s operations and requires a dynamic individual who can adapt to the evolving needs within a college environment.

Enterprise Application Integration: Serve as primary point of contact for supported applications and facilitate the integration of various enterprise applications within the college. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between systems.
Application Configuration and Performance Management: Manage the configuration of IT applications and monitor their performance. Implement necessary adjustments to optimize performance and reliability. Provide second-level troubleshooting support for end-user reported issues. Evaluate new software updates, patches, upgrades; schedule and coordinate testing and release deployment cycles.
Document and Inventory IT Solutions: Create technical documentation for applications and IT infrastructure. Develop training materials and simulate issues to bolster internal IT team knowledge. Develop and maintain a catalog/inventory on core campus IT assets monitoring usage trends over time. Provide recommendations on service improvements.
Telecommunications: Manage the college’s telecommunications systems, including telephony and associated circuits and provider services. Ensure reliable and high-quality communication services for the college community.
Identity and Access Management: Manage user identities and access controls. Implement and maintain directory services to ensure secure and efficient access to IT resources.
Network Attached Devices Support: Provide needed support for network attached devices. Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to ensure the smooth operation of these device
Vendor Management Support: Provides oversight of vendors contracted by the college and supports seamless integration of services to meet the college’s IT needs. Assist with escalations.

15 weeks of clinical, 7 hours each week of clinical. Includes one hour of prep time, selection of patient assignments, etc. Students are doing direct patient care 0630-1200. Post-conference 1200-1300.
Weekly grading of written clinical work. Eight students/week and 1.5 hours per student. Clinical assignments are already created.
Midterm and final clinical evaluation tool completion and meeting with students, 90 minutes per student for each evaluation.

Communication Faculty Member
The Department of Communication at Wisconsin Lutheran College seeks nominations for candidates for a faculty position beginning Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. Typical teaching load for the professor track is 24 credits per year, while appointments in the lecturer track are 30 credits per year.
The position requires an M.A. or Ph.D. in Communication or a related field. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and must demonstrate the potential for outstanding teaching. School of Nursing Faculty Member (full- or part-time)
The School of Nursing at Wisconsin Lutheran College seeks candidates for a faculty position beginning July 1, 2024. Responsibilities include didactic instruction, lab supervision, and/or oversight of clinical experiences at various healthcare facilities.
Qualifications include:

An unencumbered registered nurse licensure in the state of Wisconsin

The College of Health Sciences at Wisconsin Lutheran College seeks candidates for the inaugural Program Director of a new M.S. in Professional Counseling Program. We seek to fill this position starting July 1, 2024, but this start date is flexible. This full-time graduate faculty appointment will include an annual teaching load of 2-3 courses per year. Additional responsibilities include serving as the lead administrator for the counseling program, oversight of the curriculum, budget management, academic advising, leading assessment and accreditation efforts, preparing course offering schedules, recruiting and managing adjunct faculty, meeting with prospective students, and coordinating marketing efforts with the WLC Office of Marketing and Communication.
The Program Director should be an experienced counselor and hold a terminal degree. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education are preferred. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and must demonstrate the potential for outstanding teaching. Interpersonal skills and empathy are required to provide academic advising to potential and current students. Managerial and other leadership experience is highly desired.
